We have finally hit sweet summertime and the festivities are just beginning! It seems like there is a cookout every weekend or a campfire each night. Trust me, I am not complaining! Now that our family reunion has come and gone the next big event is July 4th!
Three things come to mind when I think of the fourth of July. Patriotism, fireworks and food. My sweet tooth is larger than life so when it comes time to think of something to bring to the July 4th cookout I immediately think of desserts.

Keeping with the dipped desserts who doesn’t enjoy Oreos?! Add some colored chocolate and star sprinkles and bam, super easy and patriotic cookie.
