We are all looking to make our house smell amazing. With the everyday scents like litter boxes, leftovers in the trash and stinky socks sometimes our homes can get a little stinky. While candles and other air fresheners cover up the smells nicely sometimes you just really need to get creative with some scented hacks. Here are some of the odd ways you can make your house smell amazing!
1. Kool-Aid Can Do Everything
If you missed my life-changing organization hacks (check it out here) then you didn’t see how lemon kool-aid can clean the grime out of your toilet bowl! Apparently, it is also useful for doing the exact same thing to your dishwasher. Simply put it in the compartment you would normally use for your soap and do an empty wash. The citric acid in the kool-aid helps break down all that scum.

Who says those clip-on air fresheners are just for cars? Clip those babies on to heating and cooling vents all around your house and let the scents whirl through your home. A simple and subtle way to keep things smelling nice. Thanks, Krazy Coupon Lady for the idea!
I am thinking Febreze Fresh-Cut Pine would smell amazing wafting through the air.
3. Freshen Up Your Garbage Disposal
An inexpensive, all-natural way to get that stuff garbage disposal area is freezing lemons into an ice cube tray then put it in the disposal. I personally do not have a garbage disposal but this is a handy tip for when I get that magical kitchen makeover.
