My Second Month Blogging
All in all, my second month blogging was just okay. I had to take some time off due to the overwhelming reality of life and budgeting and have just returned in time to create this blog post. However, this is not to say that the whole month was bad, there were improvements across the board.
Last Month’s Goals: And Did I Accomplish Them?
- Hit 1,000 Followers on Twitter: Heck yes!
- Hit 300 Followers on Instagram: Unfortunately no.
- 1 New Collaboration: Nope.
- Gain more Pinterest Followers: Yes!
So two out of four goals accomplished for month number two, not too bad if you ask me.
Stats & Gains
Instagram: 252 Followers (I would say about 20 new followers)
Twitter: 1,165 Followers (283 more than last month!)
Pinterest: 7 Followers & 6.6K Monthly Views (6 new followers and 900 more views)
Am I Making Money?
I am not looking to get rich quick by any means, and these stats prove just that.
Shopstyle Collective Affiliation: $0.05
Google Adsense: $0.01
BONUS: I also started my own Youtube channel! There is one poorly executed video up as we speak. Bare with me as I wrap my head around video editing and all that jazz. Check it out by clicking right here —> Housewares Haul & Current Favorites

Stay focused and present. Growing your blog is a slow process, and some days flow better than others. However, staying focused, creating content you enjoy and being present with your followers and people you surround yourself with is what will make you stand out in the end.
And, of course, don’t forget to follow me on all social media platforms that I have linked above in the stats column! Keep up to date with my thoughts, my posts and whatever else I feel like sharing. Thanks for partaking in this journey with me!
